KIDAPAWAN CITY (Sept. 18) – Never sleep
on your job, so the saying goes.

A security guard here learned this
lesson the hard way when a man took his side arm while he was asleep at his
post in Kidapawan City Wednesday dawn.

Apolinario Balinera, 26, resident
of Barangay Paco, Kidapawan City told police that he found out his cal. 38
revolver was missing. He was deployed in one of the city’s commercial
establishments.

He admitted he could have slept on
his job and did not notice someone took his side arm.

Following the incident, the
Kidapawan City PNP reminded all security guards to remain awake at night while
on duty and on alert all the time. (NDBC)
