Robbers strike again in Kidapawan
KIDAPAWAN CITY (Sept. 10/NDBC) -- Police authorities here are yet to address the rampant robbery and thief cases in the city.Three minors were caught in act of robbing a stall inside the Kidapawan City mega market at 7 p.m.Tuesday.The minors, aged 11 and 12,who were not identified in the report were turned over by the local police to the city social welfare office. Reynato Mayang, stall owner, told police he had been observing the three minors who suspiciously roaming around the market place.At past 7 p.m., the children started to destroy the stall in an attempt to take something valuable for them.Mayang assured police and the DSWD that the minors were not harmed while he was waiting for law enforcers to arrived.Police later learned the three were residents of Nursery, Kidapawan City.Kidapawan had been bracing for daily robbery cases involving business establishments.Residents have been alarmed that even at day time robbers strike unabated.Last week, Mayor Joseph Evangelista have directed the police to stop robbery cases, to no avail.
