Public school teacher, 4 others nab in Tacurong anti-illegal drug drive
TACURONG CITY– A lady public school teacher was arrested for possession of illegal drugs during police simultaneous anti-illegal drug operations Tuesday, police said.Supt.Ranie Hachuela, Tacurong City police chief, said Noria Pudin, teacher of Tacurong City National High School was among the five persons arrested during the early morning raid.Also arrested were Benjie Ganding Gayan, Aliman Midtonong Salat, Nasser Midtonong and Hasser Musalim, all residents of Barangay New Isabela.Hacheula said the raid was conducted wqith a search warrant issued by Tacurong Regional Trial Corut Judge Melanio Guerrero.The raiding team seized about 75 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride from Pudin who vehemently denied the charges against her. She stressed she was neither a pusher or a user but would not say how the illegal stuff found its way to her house.The suspects are now detained at Tacurong City detention cell while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against her and four others.
