Pigcawayan cops arrest man in illegal drug trade

PIGCAWAYAN,
North Cotabato – Police authorities arrested here Friday morning a man believed
to be involved in illegal drug trade.

Abas did not resist arrest when elements of Pigcawayan PNP and Regional Public
Safety Battalion of the PNP raided his home in Barangay Poblacion 2,
Pigcawayan, North Cotabato at 9 a.m.
Sr.
Inspector Donald Cabigas, Pigcawayan police chief, said the raiding team was armed
with arrest warrant and seized 17 heat sealed sachets of suspected methamphetamine
hydrochloride from Abas.
He has
been under surveillance for his alleged involvement in illegal drug trade.
Abas
is now detained at Pigcawayan local up cell and charges for violation of Republic
Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
