PDEA, cops arrest 7 persons, 2 women included in anti-drug operation
KORONADAL
CITY - Anti-narcotics agents arrested today
five persons, two of were women, during drug buy bust operation at 4 a.m.
Wednesday, officials said.
Two other drug
personalities were arrested in separate police operations in Barangay Sta.
Cruz, Koronadal City.
Director Lyndon
Aspacio of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-12) said the arrest was
carried out after a poseur buyer secured two sachets of shabu from the group
during the drug buy bust along Paredes Street, Koronadal City.
Aspacio identified
the suspects as Ferlyn Joy Fernandez Fabot, 20, Quennie Aplicador David, 18,
both students of a private school here, France Ivan Joven Develez, Mark Vincent
Balbon Castor and Benjamin Javing Nazareno.
They have
been under surveillance for quiet sometime,” Aspacio said, adding that he was
surprised to see these women-students on the street at 3:30 a.m.

drugs will do no good to your children,” Aspacio told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida.
Two other
suspects were arrested in Barangay Sta Cruz, according to Supt. Barney Condes,
city police director.
All the
suspects are facing violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive
Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
