PDEA ARMM nabs woman with P1.8-M shabu
MAGUINDANAO (Sept 12/NDBC) - Anti-narcotics agents on Wednesday detained a 40-year-old a Moro woman for possession of P1.8 million-worth of illegal Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, anti-narcotics agents said today.The suspect, Aisa Mamasainged, is now undergoing interrogation at the regional office in Cotabato City of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.PDEA agents raided the house of Mamasainged in Capiton District in Datu Odin Sinsuat town in Maguindanao on Wednesday and found the drugs, commonly called Shabu, in one of its rooms.The raid was carried out based on a warrant issued by Judge Bansawan Ibrahim of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Cotabato City.PDEA agents also recovered a digital weighing scale and drug-sniffing paraphernalia from Mamasainged’s house.The PDEA-ARMM on Thursday charged the suspect with violation of the Philippine Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before a local court.Mamasainged will be transferred anytime soon from the PDEA-ARMM’s detention facility to the Maguindanao provincial jail, according to senior regional officials of the agency.(NDBC)
