NGCP schedules power interruption in SK, Maguindanao, Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled power interruptions on July 9, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., NGCP corporate communications officer today said.Bambi Capulong of NGCP said the NGCP has to shut down the following transmission facilities due torepair of structures along Isulan – Dukay section of the Tacurong - DSA - Sultan Kudarat 69 KV lineandDistribution utilities ofSultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative (SUKELCO), Maguindanao Electric Cooperative
(MAGELCO), Cotabato Light andamp Power Co. (COLIGHT).
Affected
Areasand parts of Sultan Kudarat andamp Maguindanao Provinces and Tacurong andamp
Cotabato Cities.
Normal
operations will immediately resume after work completion, Capulong said.NGCP customers and
the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and
precautions for this scheduled interruption.
Specific
cities and municipalities that may be affected by the power interruption are
determined by the abovementioned Distribution Utility (DU), unless the activity
will have an effect on the entire franchise area. The DU allocates the
available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption
schedule among the end-users.
