NDBC news portal launched

MAKATI CITY
(Sept. 8) -- The leading broadcast network in Central Mindanao and in the
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) today launched the Notre Dame
Broadcasting Corporation (NDBC) and The Mindanao Crossnews portal and//www.ndbcnews.com.ph www.ndbcnews.com.ph .

Launched on
the birth anniversary of the Virgin Mary (September 8, 2014) at the NDBC Media
Marketing main office in Makati City, the dynamic NDBC news website,
henceforth, becomes operational.

This is NDBC’s
new and another platform in propagating news, music and information to its
listeners, aptly called Chief Executive Listeners (CEL), and viewers, as the
NDBC Vision-Mission vibrantly states.

Father
Jonathan Domingo, OMI, NDBC chief executive officer, said the news portal is
aligned with the NDBC Mission to inspire and empower its CELs through credible
news, informative entertainment and responsible journalism.

Primarily,
NDBC now is the leading and the primary source of news and information from the
region,” he said.

Describing
aptly the new platform of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) Media Ministry,
Fr. Domingo said and//www.ndbcnews.com.ph www.ndbcnews.com.ph is a convergence of NDBC radio stations
and The Mindanao Cross into one news media through digital information
technology.

The news
portal has successfully converged our resources from radio and print to make it
more comprehensive and integrating it to available social media networks for
interactivity and empowerment of our CELs,” he said, adding that NDBC provides
credible, responsible, comprehensive, fast, real time daily news, events and
entertainment among its CELs and integrating it with popular social media
networks.

Domingo said
the news website also provides weekly wrap up of news and events, commentaries
and opinions from veteran and columnists of The Mindanao Cross, the little
paper with a big cause,” through its digital edition.

Managed by
Edwin O. Fernandez as administrator, Domingo said the new platform is not only
dynamic but also interactive, hence, listeners, and website surfers may post
comments, opinions or suggestions on any news, issues posted on the website.
