COTABATO CITY -The Mindanao Cross Publishers Incorporated today turned over to Notre Dame University officials the digital copy of the newspaper dating back from its first issue in 1948 until 2012.Eva Kimpo-Tan, MC editor in chief, and Carlos Bautista, news editor, personally brought the digital copy in CD form and turned over to Fr. Charlie Inzon, OMI, NDU president as witnessed by Sheila Algabre, NDU vice presidentfor administration and extension at the school president's office. The digital copies of The Mindanao Cross is not only for the preservation of history and cultural heritage, but also for the academic and research interests of the members of the faculty and students of Notre Dame University, according toFr. Jonathan Domingo, OMI, Mindanao Cross chief executive officer.The microfilming process of The Mindanao Cross began in 2013. It was a joint project of Ateneo De Manila University Rizal Library and The Mindanao Cross Publishers Inc.
