Martilyo Gang member falls in Koronadal illegal drug buy bust
KORONADAL CITY –
Police neutralized Tuesday a man believed to be involved in the bloody pawnshop
robbery here and for his alleged involvement in illegal drug operation, police
said.
Senior Supt. Barney Condes,
Koronadal City police director, identified the slain robbery suspect as Jeffrey
Dalamban, 38, allegedly a member of the notorious Martilyo Gang” operating in
Manila. Also killed was his common-law-wife
Bailyn Balambag.
Condes said Dalamban was one
of the six persons who robbed Agencia Brillantes Pawnshop here after killing the
shop’s two security guards.
The alleged leader was
arrested and now in jail.
Condes said Dalamban shoot
it out with arresting lawmen in Barangay Namnama, Koronadal City after he
suspected a buyer of methamphetamine was a police asset.
