Malaysian traders to invest in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - Malaysian traders have shown interest to pour in investments in the city and preliminaries have been on going, a city official today said.Aniceto Boy Rasalan, secretary to Mayor Japal Guiani Jr, said aside from Malaysian traders, a Cebu-based businessman will also invest in the city due to its business-friendly statute.He refused to give details as preliminaries are still on going.He said the possible new business sites are in BarangaysTamontaka and Kalanganan which is expected to provide employment opportunities for the locals. Rasalan also said more small business establishments are sprouting in the city, a clear indication investors believed in the viability of investing in Cotabato City.
