Koronadal set up 'one-stop-shop' business permit renewal, registration
KORONADAL CITY - To help businessmen in the renewal and application of business permits, the city government here established a business one-stop-shop. Cyrus Urbano, Koronadal City administrator, said all government agencies involved in business renewal and licensing are now housed at the city hall lobby to facilitate smooth flow of documents, saving the clients' time, money and effort. Once they can submit all the necessary requirements, businessmen can have their businesses permits and licenses renewed in 30 minutes through our one-stop-shop,” Urbano told DXOM FM Koronadal Wednesday. Urbano appealed to the the people to do their transactions earlier in order to avoid congestion at the city hall lobby before the January 20 deadline. All business permits and licenses are supposed to be renewed on or before January 20. Applications beyond the deadline are subject to a surcharge of 25 percentamount of tax, fees or other impositions due, plus a 2 percentpercent interest per month of unpaid taxes.
