Koronadal laborer kills brother during drinking session

KORONADAL CITY,
(Sept. 16/NDBC) -- Police here have launched a manhunt against a man for
killing his own brother Saturday night during drinking spree in Barangay
Concepcion here, police said.

Gil Ayana, 43,
a laborer, stabbed to death his elder brother Ranie, 50, both are residence of
Purok Rizal, Barangay Concepcion, Koronadal City.

The Koronadal
City PNP said the suspect attacked his elder brother with a knife following a
heated argument during drinking session.Police could not say what issue the siblings have discussed.

After stabbing
his brother several times, Gil hurriedly left and remained at large.

Quoting
witnesses, police said residents nearby heard Ranie’s appeal for help and
rushed him to the Allah Valley Medical Specialist Hospital where he was
declared dead on arrival.

He sustained
four stab wounds in different parts of his body.

Police have
filed charges against the suspect. (NDBC)
