Koronadal cops arrest 4 teens in anti-drug operation
KORONADAL CITY -- Four persons, including a minor, were arrested today by police authorities here during anti-illegal drug operation as the PNP intensifies implementation of Oplan Double Barrel Alpha. Supt. Barney Condes, Koronadal City police office, in a report, identified the suspects as Mary Jell Millan, 20, Rafael Millan, 21, both of Barangay GPS, this city, Eric Bustamante, 22 of Barangay Zone 4 and a minor. In a report early today, DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Koronadal, quoted a police report that Condes ordered an anti-drug operation after receiving reports that even minors are into illegal drug activities. At about 1:20 a.m., an anti-drug raid was conducted in Upper Aurora, Barangay Zone 4, Koronadal City that led to the arrest of four suspects. Bustamante was also tagged in robbery cases in the city, preying on wrist watch stores. The minor has been turned over to the local social welfare office. Raiding operatives recovered four medium pack shabu with an estimated street value of Php19,000, mobile phones, drug paraphernalia and Php500 marked money. Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects who are now detained at PNP lock-up cell.
