Kidapawan gunman kills graduating midwifery student

KIDAPAWAN CITY
– Unidentified men riding tandem on a motorbike shot dead Wednesday night a
former Barangay Nutrition Scholar in Kidapawan City, the Kidapawan Citypolice said.
Sharlene
Sargon, 32, a mother of three and graduating midwifery student, was heading for
home in Urban Poor Subdivision in Barangay Singao at past 7 p.m. when one of two
men shot her along a road in Apo Sandawa Homes Phase 3.
Police said as
soon as Sargon alighted from the tricycle, she was approached by the gunman and
shot in the head and body. She died on
the spot.
Responding policemen
recovered five empty shells for cal. 45 pistol.
Investigators
remained clueless on the motive of the daring attack against Sargon.
