Kidapawan cop charged for firing gun inside cockpit arena
KIDAPAWAN CITY (Sept. 9/NDBC) – Being under the influence of liquor and
with a gun could cost a policeman’s job.
This if the Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS) of the PNP found
SPO1 Gadfry Cumboc guilty of indiscriminate firing, an offense that could mean
dismissal from service.
On Sunday, PO1 Cumboc allegedly fired his service firearm while inside
the Makilala cockpit arena.
He was reported to be under the
influence of liquor.
Nobody was hurt when Cumboc, a resident of Apo Sandawa Homes in
Kidapawan City and assigned at PNP engineering office, allegedly fired his 9mm
pistol upward. But it triggered panic among cockpit clients.
Aministrative charges have been filed against Gumboc by the police
provincial office. Similar charges were
also filed by the Makilala Galleria management before PNP-12. (NDBC)
