Jolo videoke bar blast hurts 10

JOLO, Sulu -- Police here are still investigating explosion of an improvised bomb that injured at least 10 persons in a drinking spree inside videoke house Friday night.The Army is helping the investigation of the 7:30 p.m. blast inside JNB Sari-Sari Store and Videoke bar in Barangay Sitio Martirez, Barangay San Reymundo, Jolo, according to Brig. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana.Sobejana, the Task Force Jolo commander, said in a text message that the victims sustained minor injuries but were rushed to the hospital by responding soldiers and policemen.Bomb experts found fragments of cut nails and metal sheets at the blast site and broken parts of mobile phone. Sobejana ruled out impression that the blast was election related.
