Iloilo will honor Mayors Miguel, Montilla during Dinagyang 2015

KORONADAL CITY - Two city mayors in the SOCCSKSARGEN region will be awarded as 'Iloilo Dinagyang Warriors' during the Dinagyang 2015 celebration later this month, the Iloilo City information office said.Mayor Peter Miguel of Koronadal and Mayor Lina Montilla of Tacurong City will receive the awardin a ceremony at the Freedom Grandstand on January 25, while their festival tribes will perform their native dances during the ceremony, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.Mabilog said MayorsMontilla and Miguel will also be guests of honor during the Dinagyang Festival 2015 in Iloilo City to highlight the 'sisterhood and cooperation' of the three cities. This is to reciprocate the gestures of the Mindanao mayors who invited me to Koronadal in September and Tacurong in November as honorary member of B'laan tribe during its annual festivals, Mabilog said in a statement released by Iloilo information office.
