Illegal drug trade that went wrong triggers Mlang shooting

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Police believed illegal drug trade that went wrong triggered the shooting of a 44-year-old man in Mlang, North Cotabato Tuesday noon, police said. Senior Inspector Jenahmeel Tonacao, Mlang police chief, identified the victim as Lindy Disumanong Said, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Pikit, North Cotabato. Tonacao said Said was standing in front of his home when four men riding on motorbikes and shot him in the head. He died on the spot. The suspects, police said, were armed with M-14 andM-16 Armalite rifles, cal. 45 pistol and cal. 38 revolver. Police recovered six sachet of shabu from the victim's pocket.
