IED blast hurts 2 in Polomolok village

KORONADAL CITY - Two persons were injured when an improvised explosive device was detonated in Barangay Proper, Polomolok, South Cotabato Sunday in what authorities believed was triggered by land dispute.Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, speaking for Police Regional Office 12, said no such incident was reported in the police.Radio reports in Gen. Santos City said the blast injured Muksim Adam and his 15 year-old son, both residents of Barangay Koronadal proper, Polomolok.The victims' family was locked in a long standing land dispute with another family he refused to identify, the same report said.Responding bomb experts found traces of black powder, cut nails and parts of mobile phone which served as triggering device.
