Fire hits Isabela Ctiy, 400 homes turn to ashes
ISABELA CITY -- A fire of still unknown origin broke out Saturday morning in a residential areas here damaging at least 400 homes, officials said.Senior Supt. Oscar Nantes, Basilan police provincial director, said the fire first broke out in a houseat about 11:15 a.m. and quickly spread to nearby houses made of light and semi-concrete materials.Fire fighters declared fire out at past 1 p.m.No casualty was reported.
