Fire hits Cotabato City residential area

COTABATO CITY -- Another fire hits residential areas in the island village of Poblacion 7 (Tukananes) Saturday morning, fire officials said.Fire Officer 2 Aldrin Nara, the spokesperson of Cotabato City Bureau of Fire Protection, said the fire of unknown origin started at 9:44 a.m. at the house of Harison Manalindog, 64.Nara said Manalindog house was made of concrete and light materials. The conflagration started at the second floor of Manalindog's home.Several houses nearby were partially damaged, Nara said, adding tha conflagration was contained 30 minutes later.Several fire hits Tukananes the past two years.
