Fire hits Cotabato City Assessor's Office

COTABATO CITYA conflagration hit the Cotabato City Assessor's Office at the second floor of the Peoples Palace at past 7 a.m. Monday, fire officials said.City Fire spokesperson James Ra told DXMS Radyo Bida, the fire was started at the office air condition unit inside the office. But the office is now safe, very minor ang damage, Ra said. Office transaction may continue today. An employee said workers who came in early rushed outside the office and into the ground floor after smoke billowed from the air condition unit.Responding fire fighters quickly contained the fire.Investigation is still in progress.
