Expensive wrist watch missing from South Cotabato solon's room
KORONADAL CITY -- A 27-year-old electrician is now facing robbery charges for allegedly stealing an expensive wrist watch of South Cotabato Rep. Ferdinand Hernandez on Christmas Eve.Rosalie Cain, househelp of the national lawmaker, reported to the city police office about the missing wrist watch inside the room of Rep. Hernandez which she learned after electrician Joebert Valencia fixed the room's electrical lights.Cain said she hired Valencia, a resident of Barangay Mambucal, Koronadal City, to fix the room lighting facilities of Hernandez.She accompanied Valencia into the lawmaker's room but she left the man briefly to take the ladder. As soon as the matter was fixed, Valencia left. Cain later found out that the expensive wrist watch was nowhere to be found.It was not clear if Valencia showed up to the police to air his side on the charges or not.
