PARANG,
Maguindanao (Sept. 15/NDBC) – Police here detained about 20 persons who figured
in a shooting incident with a retired police officer Saturday, police confirmed
today.
However,
the Parang police office refused to issue further statements on the incident
that reported to have happened in Barangay Making on Saturday morning.
Repors have
it that about 20 men with machete, amulets and sporting red head gears described
by residents as Pulahan” vigilante group,arrived in Barangay Making.
They
confronted a certain PO1 Rahid Gadi who resides in the village.
Minutes
later, residents discovered Gadi dead.
Witnesses
refused to comment when contacted by DXMS Radyo Bida.
The men were later arrested by Parang PNP. We are
still investigating,” a police desk officer said when asked to comment. (NDBC)
