Duterte on his way to quake-devastated Surigao City

President Rodrigo Duterte is on his way to Surigao Cityto meet with local officials and personally check on the people affected by the Magnitude-6.7 earthquake.The earthquake, the worst to hit the area since 1800 was triggered by earth movement in the Philippine fault, Phivolcs said.At least six people dead and over 100 injured and more than 300 homes damaged, cuts power and water supply.The Surigao City gymnasium is jampacked with local residents awaiting the start of this morning's program andamp relief goods distribution by the DSWD.
