Duterte to campaign for federalism in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - Presidential hopefulMayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City will visit this city for a symposium on Federalism, a form of government that he has been pushing.Engr. Leopoldo Ochia, Cotabato coordinator of Duterte for President Movement, the symposium will be at the Notre Dame University gymnasium and expected to be participated by students, business, civil society organizations, representative from government office,local government units and non government organizations. Ochia said the symposium starts at 1 p.m. and will center on the system of federal government. Before the symposium, Duterte will have a courtesy call to Cotabato City Mayor Japal Guiani Jr.Several groups have been pushing for Duterte to run for president next year but to date he has not publicly declared his bid. However, on several occasions he was quoted as saying what he will do if elected president. A movement, Duterte for President movement,has been launched and the Davao City mayor has been roaming around the country pushing for federal form of govenrment.
