DOH seeks media support in campaign vs. HIV-AIDS

?COTABATO CITY - Health authorities in Region 12 sought the help of media practitioners in informing the public about awareness onHuman immunodeficiency virus and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV-AIDS).Health Assistant Secretary Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial said proper information about the disease will surely help the public about it and help in preventing the spread of the virus. She said HIV was the major concern of DOH's High Impact Five or more known as HI-5 that includes maternal health, under-five, infant health and service delivery network.At least 23,000 HIV cases have been reported this year and more than 1,400 of those found positive have died. ?
