Cops hold minor for attempt to sneak drugs in Koronadal jail

KORONADAL CITY - Police arrested a minor for attempting to sneak in a sachet of shabu and paraphernalia inside the police lock-up cell Monday afternoon.Dr. Glorio Sandig, City Anti-Drug Action Council action officer, said the girl who claimed she was only 17 years old, showed up at police detention facility to visit a friend.Upon inspection, police found the prohibited drugs securely inserted inside a pack of cigarette she was to deliver to an unidentified inmate.The girl who was not identified said another friend asked her to deliver the cigarette inside the detention facility.Few months back, police also foiled attempts to slip shabu placed inside an food container with adobo. Also, a woman was held for attempting to bring in shabu concealed innoodle packs at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) detention facility.
