Cloudy skies with rainshowers in SOCCSKSARGEN

WEATHER TODAY | On the first day of October 2016, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Ilocos Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Soccsksargen and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.Two weather systems are affecting our country.First is the low pressure area which was last spotted at 175 km east of Casiguran, Aurora. At the same time, it is intensifying the southwest monsoon that is affecting the western section of Luzon.Therefore, expect light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, provinces of Abra, Apayao, Zambales and Bataan. On the other hand, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
