COTABATO
CITY (Sept. 18/NDBC) – The Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) will
never attend any consultation or public hearing about the Bangsamoro Basic Law
(BBL), its spokesperson today said.

We
will not participate in any hearing on BBL. Never,” Abu Misry Mama, speaking
for the BIFF, told DXMS Radyo Bida Cotabato.

Mama
said after hearing the news that the House will invite BIFF founding chair
Ustadz Ameril Omra Kato, he phoned Kato for his comment.

Brother
Omra told me that no one from the BIFF should attend,” he said.

Our
stance is firm. The BBL is not what we
want because we want total independence,” Mama said.

Mas
mabuti pa magbarilan na lang kaysa mag attend ng hearing-hearing na yan about
BBL,” Mama said.

He
told Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, who publicly announced his committee will invite Kato,
the BIFF and Omra Kato, to stop inviting us, we will not show up.” (NDBC)
