Assessed real properties in Q2 S. Cotabato rises to 160K

KORONADAL CITY - The assessors office of South Cotabato has declared that the total assessed value of real property units in the province has gone up by P12.6 billion this year as compared to previous year.Felix Sadiang-abay, South Cotabato provincial assessor, told a news conference that his office has assess the value of 160,000 real properties in the province from January to June this year.Last year, the number of real properties subjected to assessment by provincial assessor's office was only 156,000 with declared a total of P120 million real property taxes.POlomolok has the highest assessed properties with a value of P6.68 million followed by T'boli with P883.9 million and Tupi with P871.9 worth of real propertyassessed value.Assessment activities by the provincial assessor's office continue, eyeing about 175,000 real properties to be taxedthis year.
