Almost a million cash taken by hold-upper in Midsayap

MISAYAP, North Cotabato - An unidentified on Monday robbed an employee of a money courier firm and carted away about P1 milllion worth of cash, police said.Melvin Gonzales, fault line assistant of Western Union based in Carmen, North Cotabato had just withdrew cash from a local bank and was heading to Carmen on board a four-wheel vehicle when a suspect on board a motorbike flagged down their car at 10 a.m.Police said the suspect fled on the same motorbike with his loot contained in a bag.The Midsayap PNP is looking at different angles, from 'inside job' or plain robbery where the victim was tailed from the bank to where the robbery took place.
