601st brigade commander now heads Joint Task Force Sulu

JOLO, SULU -- Army Colonel Cirilito Sobejana, former commander of the Army's 601st Infantry Brigade based in Tacurong City is the new commander of Joint Task Force Sulu.Capt. Jo-ann Petinglay, Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) spokesperson, said Sobejana has assumed as the JTFS commander after a change of command ceremonies over the weekend in Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista in Barangay Busbus, Jolo, Sulu.Petinglay said the turnover of command was presided over by Westmincom chief Maj. Gen. Carlito Galvez Jr.Sobejana replaced Brig. Gen. Jesus A. Manangquil who was reassigned as commander of Joint Task Force National Capital Region.
