225 aspiring soldiers to undergo 5-month training at 6th ID DTU
CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao -- The first batch of aspiring soldiers today took their oath here as they prepare for a rigid military training.Capt. Arvin John Encinas, speaking for the 6th ID, said the aspirants took their oath during ceremonies held Friday afternoon at the division grandstand here.He said of the 225 first batch trainees, 25 were females.Major Gen. Arnel dela Vega, 6th ID chief, who gave his commander's send off message, said the candidate soldiers who went through a complete screening and pre-entry process, will be sent to Division Training School of 6th Infantry Division in Barangay Semba, Datu Odin Sisnuat, Maguindanao for five-month military training.
