13 BIFF sumuko sa Army, tumanggap ng ayuda mula MSSD

TUMANGGAP ng cash assistance at iba pang tulong mula sa LGU, MSSD at MPOS ang mga BIFF members na sumuko sa headquarters ng 1st Brigade Combat Team ng Philippine Army sa Barangay Pigcalagan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Dala ng mga BIFF members ang kanilang mga matataas na uri ng armas tulad ng sniper rifle, 50 caliber barret, mga bala, grenade launcher at iba pa.

Ang mga ito ay nagmula pa mga bayan ng Rajah Buayan, Datu Unsay, Datu Hoffer, Datu Abdullah Sangki at SPMS Box (Shariff Aguak, Pagatin-Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Mamasapano, and Shariff Saydona Mustapha).

Bago pa man ang pormal na pagsuko ng mga ito ay una muna silang nakipag-ugnayan sa tanggapan ng 92nd Infantry Battalion at 6th Mechanized Battalion ng 6ID.

Mismong si 1st BCT Commander Brigadier General Leodovic Guinid ang tumanggap sa mga surrenderees kasama ang mga alkalde ng mga nabanggit na bayan.

Tiniyak ni Guinid na nagpapatuloy ang kanilang paghikayat sa lahat ng kasapi ng BIFF at ibang grupo na sumuko na ang mga ito.

Ayon kay BGEN. Guinid, ito na ang ika-limang batch ng BIFF o katumbas ng 100 na sumuko sa kanilang tanggapan.

Samantala, tiniyak ng Bangsamoro Government, AFP, PNP at ibang stakeholders na bibigyan ng tamang suporta ang mga nasabing BIFF members.
