1 hurt as bullet proof van figured in a highway mishap in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY - An armored van driver was injured when the bullet proof money courier he was driving figured in a highway mishap in Barangay Paraiso, this city Wednesday morning.Wounded wasVirgilio Dansel Jr, resident of Barangay Gen. Paulino Santos,Koronadal City.Traffic investigators quoted Dansel as saying that he was driving the armored van to Surallah from Koronadal City at past 9 a.m. when another van overtook and almost hit the bullet proof vehicle.As he avoided collision, the armored van turned on its side and landed atop the drainage canal.Dansel was with two others, a security guard an a bank teller, who also sustained minor injuries but all of them are now safe.
