Wife of abducted cop buried in NorCot without him

KIDAPAWAN CITY
-- Florelie Cui who died after her husband, Senior Inspector Menard Cui, was abducted
last Dec. 28, was laid to rest Friday with the police officer still in the
hands of communist rebels.

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Communists New Peoples’ Army today confirmed it has in its custody a
police officer they snatched on December 28 and forwarded proof of life video
to local journalists through electronic mail.

Fire hits DXMS anchor's home in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY -- A fire of still unknown origin gutted down the three-story home of DXMS Radyo Bida Anchor-Reporter Esmael Sam Sali in Campo Muslim, Barangay Bagua Mother, Cotabato City Friday.
