Total blackout hits Cotabato City, environs due to unexpected outages

COTABATO CITY - A power outage hit Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) franchise area from 8:37 pm to 9:58 p.m. or more than an hour due to outage in the Simuay, Sultan Kudarat to Datu Saudi Ampatuan (DSA) power station, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) today said.Ms. Bambi Capulong, speaking for NGCP southern Mindanao, told and//www.ndbcnews.com.ph www.ndbcnews.com.ph that power interruption hit Cotabato Light franchise area due to 69KV line to ground fault. Capulong said investigation is on going. She offered apologies as the event was beyond NGCP's control.
