Suspect sa pag-ambush kay Lanao Gov. Adiong, naaresto sa South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY – Isa pang suspect sa ambush kay Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong Jr ang nahuli kahapon.

Si Saidamen Baratumo alyas "Kumander Lomala," 42 taong gulang ay naaresto sa national highway ng Surallah, South Cotabato, ayon kay South Cotabato police director Colonel Cydrick Earl Tamayo.

Sinabi ni Tamayoi na matagal na nilang natanggap ang intelligence information na si Lomala ay nagtatago sa Barangay Centrala, Surallah, South Cotabato at isinailalim siya sa close monitoring.  

Nang makumpirma na siya talaga ay saka ginawa ang law enforcdement operation, ayon kay Tamayo.

Si Lomala ay may address na Barangay Bato-Bato, Maguing, Lanao del Sur at kasapi daw ng Gandawali Private Armed Group.

Apat ang namatay, tatlo ay mga police escorts at ang isa ay driver ng convoy vehicle ni Gov. Adiong matapos na sila ay ambusin sa boundary ng Bukidnon at Lanao del Sur noong Feb. 17.
