Stray bullets landed in 2 Cotabato homes during Eud'l Adha
COTABATO CITY -- Two city residents on Thursday reported to the local police about two stray bullets that landed in their homes believed to be fired during the Eud'l Adha celebration.Few people fired theirguns in welcomingthe celebration Thursday according to police but not as massive as during previous Eud'l Fitr or New Year.Jessica Cristobal Biruar, 46 of Spring Site, Mabini Street, Barangay Bagua 3, Cotabato City said a slug for cal. 45 pistol landed in her daughter's room.Biruar's neighbor, Cimafranca family, also reported that a slug for cal. 45 pistol landed at the room of their home almost at the same time.Nobody was hurt in twin incidents, police said.Earlier, Senior Supt. Rex Anongos, city police director, has appealed to gun owners not to fire guns in welcoming the celebration.
