Sto Nino cops arrest 5 men on shabu pot session

KORONADAL CITY - Police authorities in Sto. Nino, South Cotabato arrested five men caught in the act of having pot session in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Poblacion Tuesday.Chief Inspector Joel Fuerte, Sto Nino town police chief, said he received a tip from concerned residents about the on going pot session of prohibited drugs in a house in Barangay Poblacion.After verifying the veracity of the information, Fuerte led a team of police officersin raiding the house owned by Nathaniel Sioson.Caught in the act of sniffing methamphetamine hydrochloride, also known as shabu, were Sioson Jose Francray Delgado Billanes, 42 Cyrus Ardiente Vargas, 29 all residents of Purok LibertadErnie Lanzagarita Jemina, 30 and Rhian Casa Lamzon, 30 Barangay De Lotilla, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. The raiding team recovered illegal drug paraphernalia, disposable lighters, crampled aluminum foil, and sachets with shabu residue.Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 have been filed against the suspects.
