KIDAPAWAN CITY - A soft drinks sales man and his helper were arrestd by Matalam police for possession of illegal drugs during saturation drive Tuesday.Police suspected that the duo were not only delivering soft drinks but illegal drugs too.Arrested were Bejay Roduta, 20, soft drinks delivery truck driver and resident of Barangay Kibudoc, Matalam and Norberto Uboza, 33, soft drinks sales agent and resident of Barnagay Malasila, Makilala, North Cotabato.Police recovered three heat sealed sachets of shabu.Ins. Elias Colonia, Matalam PNP chief, said the duo had been placed under surveillance for quite a way for their alleged involvement in illegal drug use.Matalam PNP has put up highway checkpoint as part of an intensified Oplan Kapkap bakal and Oplan Sita to neutralized the proliferation of firearms and illegal drugs.
