OMIs honor Oblate jubilarians
KIDAPAWAN CITY – The Oblates of Mary Immaculate today honored 10 oblates who are celebrating their presbyteral ordination and religious profession.
A jubilarians day mass was held at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary chapel in Kidapawan City with Cotabato Archbishop Angelito Lampon, OMI as main presider and Fr. Romy Saniel as homilist.
Fr. Charlie Inzon, OMI, Oblates provincial superior, in a statement, congratulated the Jubilarians “and we thank God for the gift of their ministry and persons as Oblates of Mary Immaculate.”
The jubilarians are Archbishop Lampon and Fr. Federico Labaglay, both from Mlang, North Cotabato and both celebrating their 50 anniversary of religious life, Fr. Romy Saniel and Fr. Eduardo Tanudtanud, their 40th and Fr. Howard Tatel, his 25th anniversary of religious life.
Fr. Ignacio Rellin, OMI was celebrating his 40th year of priesthood while Fr. Roger Caalim, Fr. Rito Daquipil, Fr. Dennis Gui and Fr. Eduardo Santoyo, their 25th year of priesthood.
Today’s celebration capped the annual retreat of the first batch of Oblate missionaries at Binoligan Shrine with Fr. Daniel Renaud, OMI as retreat master.
