KIDAPAWAN CITY - With its roads riddled with sharp curves and dangerous turns, a village chiefin Makilala, North Cotabato sees the need to have a speed limit ordinance.Barangay KisanteChairperson Anatalio Abeng told DXND Radyo Bida that an ordinance is a must following the series of highway accidents that claimed eight lives.Abeng said 30 accidents have been reported since January to date.He said narrow roads, over speeding public and private vehicles are contributory to highway accidents, including poor and inadequateroad signs on road repair and rehabilitation.Councilor Pedro Ang said an ordinance has already been approved but for one reason or another it cannot be implemented.
