Motorbike driver shot, injured but still drives his bike about 800 meters away

COTABATO CITY -- A passenger motorcycle (Habal-Habal) driver is now fighting for his life after unidentified gunman shot and injured him along TV Juliano Street, Barangay Rosary Heights Mother, Cotabato City, police said.Jeffrey Juntillano Sobrevilla, 38 of Tanghal subdivision, Mother Barangay Bagua, was driving his motorbike along Purok Zion B in RH Mother with his passengerLeonides Castor Liberato when the shooting occurred at 7 p.m.He was to bring his passenger to Sousa Street.Three men riding on a separate motorbike overtook Sobrevilla's vehicle and halted few meters away, waiting for him. As he approached, one of the three men pulled a cal. 45 pistol and shot Sobrevilla once. His passenger was unhurt.Sobrevilla, despite a gunshot wound on his chest, managed to drive his motorbike up to Sousa Street where his passenger sought the help of Army Special Force soldiers on patrol.The soldiers rushed him to the hospital.Motive of the shooting remained unknown.
