LIBUNGAN, North Cotabato - Thousands joined the family of Mayor Christopher "Amping" Cuan in send him to his final resting place today.
Following a requiem mass at the San Isidro Labrador parish officiated by Cotabato Archbishop Angelito Lampon, OMI, DD, Libunganons were in tears as the town sent its mayor to sa Gregory Hills Memorial Garden in Barangay Cabpangi.
Joining the funeral mass were Oblate and diocesan clergies of the Archdiocese of Cotabato.
Also, North Cotabato Gov. Nancy Catamco joined the late mayor's family in sending him to the memorial park.
Libunganons stay outside the San Isidro parish church in observance of physical distancing and other health protocols.
