COTABATO CITY - While Cotabato City was thrilled with the opening of the a mall in the city, members of bukas kotse gang struck and victimized two car owners, including a member of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).Patrick Luan Uy, 29, resident of Sitio Tenorio, Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao and works at BFP in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.He told police that he parked his car inside Mall ofAlNor parking area and went inside the newly opened establishment.He returned two hours later andfound his car was burglarized.The attackers took his bag that contained BFP uniforms and a mobile phone.At about 1 p.m., Benjamin Bacar Jr, 47, of Gonzalo Javier Street, Cotabato City discovered his Ford Pick-up truck (ZAZ-308), parked along the highway fronting the complex was also robbed.The robbers broke the truck's window and took his laptop, mobile phone and other valuables.
