Lady soldier's gun fires inside a Cotabato City mall
COTABATO CITY - A lady soldier is now under investigation for accidentally firing his cal. 45 pistol while depositing it to a mall entrance Sunday.The incident left a child slightly wounded, according to Senior Supt. Efren Salazar, police station 1 chief.He said Private First ClassMichelle Ortega of the 6th Infantry Division, was about to enter South Seas Mall and was about to deposit herfirearm when it accidentally went off with the bullet hitting the floor and its shattered floor tiles injured a minor.Salazar said it was accidental and Ortega rushed the 14-year-old victim to the hospital.Meanwhile, jealousy forced a man to stabbed to death his wife he suspected of having as textmate before killing himselfin Barangay Rangaban, Midsayap, North Cotabato.Supt. Noel Delos Santos,Midsayap PNP chief, identified the victim asMylene Bajador, 35 while the suspect as Ramon Bajador, 38.Delos Santos said the victims' children told police investigators that their father has been jealous after he suspected his wife of having an illicit affair.After stabbing his wife in the neck and breast, Ramon also stabbed himself in his chest.
