March is Rabies Awareness Month. A total of1,138 dogs and 48 catswere given vaccines during the mass vaccination in 23 stations in Barnagay Poblacion, Kidapawan City.Gornez saidaside from having the animals vaccinated, pet owners are also advised to ensure dogs are tied so they won't attack humans. Most of victims of dog or cat attacks are pet owners, Gornez said.
